To live a "worthy" life, does not mean to live so perfectly that we deserve the presence of God. If we could earn our way to heaven, then Christ did not need to die for us. The truth is, "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners," according to 1 Timothy 1:15 NKJV. As Ephesians 2:5 shows us, we were sinners when God called us and saved us from the attacks of Satan, from his lies, and his plan of destruction for our lives. Even though, as we live the Christian life, we all will stumble and sin. It’s inevitable. The Word of God tells us that.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 NKJV

You should feel better knowing that God knows we are all sinners, and He still sent his beloved son to die on the cross for our sins. Therefore, live a life worthy of God's call as much as you can! Show how highly you value God's call by conducting yourself in a manner that honors Him. Therefore, set your mind in the heavenward direction with such single-minded devotion that you can say with Paul:

“ …but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14 NKJV

However, it sounds easier said than done. What should one do to obey God's voice, and His will, His commandments? There are many biblical scriptures that answer this question. However I will give you one of my favorites:

“He (God) must increase, but I (meaning, "You") must decrease.” John 3:30 NKJV

Yes! God must increase His values, His Spirit, and His love in you. You must decrease everything that does not reflect His glory in your life. Therefore, live up to your call. Live lives worthy of God who calls you into his kingdom and glory.

We pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord, and it may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God. Colossians 1:10 NKJV

It can be done!!!!  But only you can do it! Be blessed, but most of all, be highly favored in the name of Jesus.
